The Bay Oaks pool is Open - The temp is 85 degrees

As of today about 5:00 P.M. today Wednesday, 9/22/10 the Bay Oaks pool was opened for

business.  We want to thank Galaxy Pools Rob, Tim & Billy for

their attentiveness from answering my phone calls and working with both Augie

and myself to bring about the new pool.  We appreciate everything they did for

Bay Oaks.  We receive a lot of compliments on our pool.  It is a beautiful pool!

We also would like to thank Galaxy Pools for replacing a malfunctioning pool heater

at no charge to Bay Oaks.  That was a stand-up thing to do...

The whole board and Manager Melissa of Casey

Management have worked hard to try to make Bay Oaks a better looking place

with these projects.   “Everyone should be talking proud”.

It took a lot of people to make this happen!  Thank You!!!

Vince Delgato

Front Landscape, Installed sod 9/16/10  -

Talk proud about your property!   There is more to do!  There are

a couple of negative people that own at Bay Oaks.   When these projects are over, they will find

something else to complain about.

No 1 - Sunday 7/25 Galaxy started to shut down pool and drain water.  This picture shows pool at 8:30 am on Monday morning 7/26.  Almost drained

No 2 - Monday  7/26 Tarp set over deep end of pool for water blaster man & equipment to enter under the tarp.  Tarp keeps material from flying out of pool.  Several hours later Galaxy supervisor, Vince and Manager were summoned to the pool.

No 3  - Monday  7/26 Water blaster stopped working and large gray area is existing pool coating.  Brown color is old coating the last pool company left on pool and placed coating over the brown one without stripping.  Not done to specs.  Water blaster advised that for that water blaster machine to strip whole pool it would be very, very expensive.

No 4 - Same as No.  3
7/26

No 5  -  Monday 7/26 It was determined that laborers would be less money to take off three layers on pool to get to the 8" cement pool frame

No 6 - Tuesday 7/27 Break time!  Very hot, humid and dirty.  Crew of 7 men stripping the pool down to bare cement..  Galaxy would not garantee the pool without taking pool down to cement.  In spots as many coats as 5 were taken off.  Not done properly before.  This is why the pool was falling apart 2 years and 2 months into the warranty -  2 months over warranty.  Company went out of business

No 7 - Wednesday 7/28 Men are working by hand to strip away coatings from pool.  Several trailer loads taken off property.

No 8 - Wednesday 7/28 Beam or curb was in terrible shape.  Pictured is 6" of material poured on top of one another.   Prior colors of tiles just cemented over were shrimp, light blue, dark blue, and dark purple.  There were so many coatings that the depth numbers on sides of pool would be partially covered .  Could not go any higher on the curb.  It had to be taken down to original.

No 9 - Wednesday 7/28 Partial cut away of beam on pool 6" thick in coatings..Very bad, moisture between layers

No 10 - 7/29 A 5" piece of gunite that was pulled off the stairs in the pool.  Steps will be completely done.  Stairs were literally falling apart mixture was mostly sand with a little cement mixed in.

No 11 - 7/29 picture of pool stair will be rebuilt next week.   pool stairs is mostly sand with little cement.

No 12 - 7-29 picture shows 4 layers of ceramic tiles and cement and gunite on beam or curb...

No 13 - 7/29 - pool is stripped down to the cement surface with all prior layers taken off.  Start of restructure next week.  On the re-build -  Tons of cement and gunite taken away

No. 14, August 4, 2010 - Augie has poured a cement pad for new motor to be installed at pool.  Old pump and motor kept blowing "O" rings flooding the pool area every couple weeks .

No 15 - August 5th & 6th - Leveling out low spots in existing cement.  Existing floor is old and there are a lot of sunken spots

No 16 - August 5th & 6th - leveling out low spots on pool deck before finished product in placed

No. 17 - August 6th - place finish coat on over cracks to even out cement before final color coat is placed.  This will not be done till pool is rebuilt

No 18 - August 5th & 6th  Pool construction rebuild has started.  Work has started on leveling curb and or beam.  All loose ceramic will be taken off and built up or taken down.  It is important to level beam and curb so water drains properly.

No. 19 - August 9 th Forming up the gutter or beam of the pool

No 22 - August 11, 2010 New motor & pump installed at pool replacing old pump that broke again just before pool shut down. The new motor and pump is a lot quieter too.
